The Changing Role of Parliaments in the Budget Process: Country Experiences of PUIC Countries and EU Member States

Speakers, who will participate in the symposium, need to deliver the synopses of their papers to the address that is stated in the correspondence section until 23 August 2010 and; have to deliver the full texts to the symposium executives until the date of the symposium.

Besides, in the book (publication) that would be published after the symposium, not only the texts of the papers of the speakers, but also the scientific articles that are written on the subject matter of the symposium by the participants, will be included. For this, those interested need to deliver the synopses of their articles until the symposium date (23 September 2010) and; the full texts, latest 23 October 2010, to the address that is stated in the correspondence section.

Synopsis of a paper or article should not contain more than 500 words.


Article (full text) writing rules:

  • Heading of the Article: 14 points, all in upper case, bold and centered.
  • Name of the Author(s): 12 points, centered.
  • Institution to which Author(s) is/are Affiliated: 12 points, centered.
  • Main Headings: 12 points, centered, all in upper case and bold.
  • Sub Headings: 12 points, left aligned, each word capitalized and bold.
  • Text: 12 points, Times New Roman, justified, 1.5 lines spaced.
  • Diagrams, Tables and Photograph Captions: 12 points, bold.
  • One-line spacing must be left between the sections of the text of the article.
  • Each word of the captions of the tables and figures must be capitalized.
  • References in the text or notes will be given in parenthesis as follows: (Author(s)’ surname(s), the publication year)
  • Bibliography must be located at the last section of the article, and should be listed in the alphabetical of the surnames of the authors.
